The last month has been hectic! Throughout the month of October, we raised awareness for breast cancer research at Pink Alabama, walked with fellow witches to raise money for Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, providing children all over with a free book every month from age 1-5.
Last week has a blast trick or treating and enjoying the end of spooky season, and in the midst of this, we officially opened our doors! We have been busy and are so grateful to those who have entrusted us with your care. We appreciate all the support from our friends and family through social media. Liking and sharing posts help spread the word that we are here and ready to help you feel your best!
Admittedly, October can be chaotic, and this one was no different. As we move into November, I wanted to share this reminder to pause and take care of yourself before we move into the hustle and bustle of the holiday season.
Your mental health and well-being are as important as your physical health, arguably more so, and one always affects the other.
Some tips to help you feel rested and refreshed during this season of the year:
Get enough sleep.
Limit your intake of caffeine.
Spend some time in the sunshine.
Nourish your body.
Use real ingredients, cut back on the processed and fast foods.
Take a social media break. This time of year is filled with posts full of social events and obligations. While we do recommend spending time in community with friends and family, don't overextend, overcommit, and overbook your schedule.
There is so much sickness going around. Allow yourself to rest and heal when you can. Let November be your time to refill your cup before rolling into the busy holiday season.
